Blues Valley Review

Submission Guidelines

Beginning on Monday, January 28, 2008, Blues Valley Review will become a quarterly journal published in January, April, July, and October. Updates to the website will occur for each edition.

Also beginning in April 2008 Blues Valley Review will be accepting general fiction submissions. Unlike submissions to The Copperfield Review, these do not have to be historical in nature. Any and all types of fiction are welcome. Authors submitting fiction should submit their work pasted into their e-mail to editors(at)bluesvalleyreview.com. We will not open file attachments. The words "Fiction Submission" should appear in the subject heading of the e-mail. Fiction should be double-spaced and no longer than 3000 words. Authors should include a brief bio, written in third person. Authors must also be sure that their e-mail address appears within the text of their e-mail. Authors can expect to hear from us regarding the status of their work within 8-10 weeks. Please do not submit fiction until April 1, 2008. Work sent before that date will be deleted unread.

In addtion, in April we will be accepting reviews of novels and non-fiction books, as well as CDs and DVDs. Writers may submit their reviews to editors(at)bluesvalleyreview.com. We will only consider reviews submitted via e-mail. Reviews must be sent pasted into the text of the e-mail since we will not open file attachments.
