Blues Valley Review is coming at just the right time as that bluesy music that stirs your soul is making a comeback and music is getting real again. Music critics have been pointing out the new coming of blues and soul music because fans are getting tired of the manufactured hits heard all over the radio. Finally there are artists who know where they come from and who are ready for the challenge of taking their musical roots and making them meaningful for an audience hungry for honest, heartfelt songs. Not only does Blues Valley Review focus on the artists you already know and love, but we also acknowledge classic performers you forgot that you loved as well as point out newer artists you may not yet know but you will love them when you do.
Blues Valley Review is now a quarterly journal published in January, April, July, and October. On April 1, 2008 we are opening up our submissions to include general fiction (all types of fiction are welcome) and book reviews including novels and non-fiction. Submissions to Blues Valley Review do not have to be historical in nature. For further information, click on our submission guidelines.
